Darian Andreson

Darian has been in the insurance industry since 1998. He built Senior Tax Advisory Group as a multidimensional practice bringing a very successful insurance practice, a Brokerage firm, CPA’s, and Elder Law attorneys together under one roof.  Catering to seniors for tax preparation, financial advice, and even legal solutions – All advisors work together to benefit our clients! Our company truly believes that taxes are the foundation to great planning. Over the last eighteen years, through a self-developed seminar system, his company has successfully developed a client base of over 950 financial clients. Great planning takes a great team, and Senior Tax has a great TEAM. We take service to clients to an all-new level and work every day to take that concept to others, transforming our industry, ONE CLIENT AT A TIME!

April Andreson

Vice President, Senior Tax Advisory Group

All of us at Senior Tax Advisory Group know that without April the office would not run as smoothly as it does.  In 2005 Darian asked April if she would help during tax season; just on a part-time basis, he said.  She has been here ever since.

April has done every job in the office and is invaluable to each and every one of us. She enjoys being behind the scenes taking care of the staff.  Her passion is in helping people and it is for this reason that she has been here since the 2005 tax season.  When asked why she enjoys coming in every day she says “It’s due to the life lessons I have learned from our clients and the relationships that we have cultivated over the years”.

Darian and April were Junior High sweethearts.  They have been married for 25 years and have two wonderful children.  She as well as the entire family loves spending time together traveling and camping.

She came to us from another well-known firm where she ran the transition team across the country – her team handled everything from 401(k)s to IRA rollovers! Kathy’s parents recommended us to her, after they became clients, and 5 months later she started working with us. Kathy is the compliance officer for the RIA, and is the Senior Investment Representative for Senior Tax Advisory Group.

Kathy has 4 daughters and is a new grandma!  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exploring new areas.  She always has her hiking shoes in her suitcase – just in case!

Troy was born in North Dakota and grew up in South Dakota.  Prior to moving to Colorado in 2014 and joining the Senior Tax Advisory Group team, he had worked for 7 years in the engineering / administration department of a Gold Mine in South Dakota.  Troy found his passion as a Junior Advisor here at Senior Tax Advisory Group.  He has a “can do” attitude with a great aptitude to excel in more than just one role.  From taxes, to account reviews, not to mention a variety of other duties he really puts his best out there for the team.

Senior Tax Advisory Group Mascot

Bear is our most valuable player!  He has been hanging out since 2013. His main duties include: greeting clients, calming tax frazzled nerves, guarding cookies and chasing squeaky toys.  He is great at giving hugs – just watch out for slobbers!  Bear is a trained therapy dog – his favorite therapy job was at the Air Force Academy during finals week.  Any time you come to the office – give a shout out to him for a little puppy love! (unless of course it is naptime!)

Plan For Your Future

There is no one “best place” to put your retirement money because each individual and couple has unique requirements, different tolerances for risk, and need their money at different times. Likewise, there is no one place to keep your money that fits everyone for exactly the same reasons. Your unique circumstances must be taken into consideration if you seek to find the “most favorable place” for your retirement money. This is where we can be of service.
